Enjoy the snow during your stay at the Gîtes du Château de la Robine

Staying at the Gîtes du Château de la Robine means choosing a nature retreat in the heart of Haute-Provence, amidst wild landscapes, tranquility, and wide-open spaces. Located in La Robine-sur-Galabre, about ten kilometers from Digne-les-Bains, our cottages offer an ideal setting to recharge far from the hustle and bustle.

But did you know that it’s also easy to enjoy the mountains and snow during your stay?

Ski resorts easily accessible

One of the advantages of the Gîtes du Château de la Robine is their strategic location between Provence and the Alps. In winter, several family-friendly ski resorts are nearby, making it easy to organize a day or weekend of skiing without leaving your nature retreat.

The Chabanon station

The Chabanon ski resort is located approximately 40 to 50 km from Digne-les-Bains, roughly a 1 to 1 hour 10 minute drive depending on the route. This human-scale resort offers around 40 km of slopes between 1,546 m and 2,025 m altitude, ideal for an accessible and friendly day of skiing.

From the gîtes (about fifteen minutes from Digne-les-Bains), it’s very easy to head out in the morning to enjoy the snow and return to a peaceful setting at the end of the day.

Montclar Les 2 Vallées resort

The Montclar ski resort is located approximately 45 to 50 km from Digne-les-Bains, roughly a 45-minute to 1-hour drive.

With nearly 50 km of slopes, it is the largest resort in the Digne-les-Bains area, offering a diverse ski area for all levels. Easily accessible, it allows you to enjoy a full day in the mountains without long journeys.

The perfect balance between Provence and the Alps

This is the true essence of a stay in La Robine-sur-Galabre:

  • peaceful sleep in a pristine natural setting
  • basking in the sunshine of Haute-Provence
  • and quick access to the snow whenever the mood strikes

An ideal combination for a unique winter holiday, blending nature, relaxation, and the mountains.
