This summer, we had the chance to visit a unique place, located just a few minutes from the Gîtes du Château: the Alexandra David-Néel House-Museum. A true treasure that tells the fascinating story of an extraordinary woman, a pioneer of her time.

Alexandra David-Néel (1868–1969) was an explorer, writer, orientalist, and Buddhist. She made her mark on history through her travels, particularly to Tibet, where she was the first European woman to enter Lhasa in 1924. Her life is a testament to audacity, curiosity, and spiritual quest.
