Leaving Ainac, climb the right bank of the Galabre to the Col Saint-Antoine (1451 m). From there, descend towards Feissal via the Moutette ravine (1375 m) and its lush pastures to the D103 trail leading to Authon. Lunch break next to the “Pecoule farm,” a beautiful castle farm currently being restored in Feissal (1400 m), in the peaceful meadow near the fountain. After a short nap, the return follows the Vançon River, then climbs towards the Col Saint-Antoine and returns along the left bank of the Galabre to Lambert, then Ainac.
It is a beautiful route at the foot of the Monges peaks, culminating at around 2000 m, in the heart of Haute-Provence, without great difficulty which allows you to discover a variety of landscapes very marked by the rocks and the geological history of the massif: folds, creases, faults… small watercourses, splendid panoramas crossed by mule tracks which welcome thousands of sheep in the summer.
