The 2024 edition of the Outdoor and Hiking Festival promises to be exceptional! For its 20th edition, this unmissable event in the Digne-les-Bains region will take place for the first time over 3 days, from September 20 to 22, 2024. Organized by Provence Alpes Agglomération, in partnership with the Tourist Office, this event invites you to discover the wealth of outdoor activities in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
An exceptional program for all audiences
Whether you’re an outdoor sports enthusiast, a hiking fan, or simply looking for a family weekend in the great outdoors, this anniversary edition has it all. The program includes 15 outdoor activities to discover and more than 80 scheduled outings for only €5 per day.
Here’s a glimpse of the activities on offer:
– 2- or 3-day hikes and treks
– Trail running, for those who love running in the great outdoors
– Paragliding, for an aerial adventure
– Mountain biking, road biking, and gravel biking, for cycling fans
– Climbing and via ferrata, for those who love heights
– Water sports such as canoeing, kayaking, rowing, paddleboarding, and sailing
– Slacklining, to test your balance
Unique moments to experience with family or friends
In addition to the outings, numerous free activities will be offered for the whole family at the Outdoor Village, located at the Digne-les-Bains lake. There, you’ll find activities for children, demonstrations, and relaxation areas to enjoy a weekend outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere.
The festival will also feature:
– A launch evening on Saturday, September 14th at the Palais des Congrès, with a screening of the film “Face à Face” by Nicolas Diamantara (aka Trek Attitude on social media)
– Concerts, shows, and film screenings in the evening
– A health day on Friday, focused on well-being and nature
Easy organization for an accessible experience
Day trips are available for a single price of €5 and include not only a guide, but also a morning snack with local and organic products, an afternoon snack, an aperitif, and a raffle entry. In addition, children under 12 can participate free of charge on day trips, a great opportunity to introduce youngsters to the joys of nature!
