Anecdote
“Hypocras” is a very old and well-known drink from the Middle Ages. It is a very sweet wine, often with honey, to which spices such as cinnamon and ginger are added, as well as other aromatic plants. The name of this apartment is a nod to the ancient origins of the building and to a not-so-distant era when Bacchus’s lair was right next door: yes, the bar of the village had taken up residence in the castle, next door.
Description
This single-story accommodation whose entrance overlooks the side of the road will be perfect to welcome you in small group. Located on the west gable of the castle, it enjoys a privilege: it is the only one with a balcony; perhaps you will take the opportunity to drink your coffee early in the morning while enjoying the view of the famous “robines”, these so typical black hills?
In the warm colors of Provence, olive-green, the ocher shades of Roussillon, these earthy colors which are presented here in yellow and orange, Hypocras will seduce you with its so Mediterranean side that you can almost hear the cicadas. Did you know that this accommodation is also labeled “Tourism & Handicap”, accessible to disabled people ?
Immediately to the left upon entering the very practical kitchen, into the living room onto which it opens, in the bedroom with a double bed and in the second bedroom furnished with two single beds, as a guiding thread, the walls have been colored with aerated lime applied with a trowel.
The bathroom is functional and equipped with a shower, a sink and toilet.
Outside, barbecues for all are provided for your wood fire grilling…
