The room “Salle du Bénitier”, with a surface area of 24 m2, is L-shaped around a very friendly counter that also serves as a pass-through kitchen. The large 12 m2 kitchen is open to the room, allowing you to prepare meals while participating in group discussions! This kitchen can also be used by a caterer during your events. The tables can be removed for a cocktail atmosphere, for example. A small platform can be used fot microphone or visual animation. And why not decorate it too?
This room was believed to be a chapel in the 4th century, according to archaeological historians, based on the way the walls were constructed, among other factors. The chapel was later transformed and had other uses until it was incorporated into the castle building. The holy water font was found during the renovation work.
